Despite half the team unable to make the trip to the Cardiff International White Water centre the team called upon substitute Al Rotsey (once a part of another unknown team), Ewan Smith, and Dan Raynor. The team took it’s first silver medal and in true form 2 of the members ensured their bodies were fit for the next day by preserving them in alcohol until 5am Sunday morning.
