Team Oarsome are of course not weak enough to need help to keep warm, however whilst the base layer potentially has a thermal application for civilians, it is actually a combat recognition system stopping any potential friendly fire incidents/fiascoes. Additionally with its contrasting blue/black colours it keeps us camouflaged both on the water (helping to win head to heads) and well as under it (lying in ambush at the bottom of eddys…. Which is the only reason we were there!).
